Oregon Association of Telecommunications Officers & Advisors

natoa logoOATOA was one of the first state chapters formed and recognized by NATOA and is open to any national member within the State of Oregon and Southwest Washington.  We have many active members in NATOA including current and post NATOA officers.  Several members serve on NATOA committees.  Many cities and counties in Oregon do not have staff assigned to telecommunications management -- therefore our Oregon members are frequently contacted by others for advice and information.

Since Oregon laws allow local governments’ considerable control over their public rights of way, we also work closely with the League of Oregon Cities and Association of Oregon Counties to prevent hostile industry legislation restricting our rights.  That effort continues each legislative session.

OATOA meets several times each year to discuss common issues and to share information with each other.  If you are not a member, please join us!  Contact Pam Berrian at 541-682-6899
